Mission Week 3

Its been... a week. Haha its been a wild week. Started off good with normal classes, then i got sick... it was just a little cold that was goin around but that didn't make it feel any better. But luckilly Nyquil and Dayquil works magic!
Pizza night at the MTC is a great time, having unhealthy, cheesy, greasy food has never felt so good.
I got this music app that we are allowed to use and created a bom playlist, music is awesome. Choir especially is fun. Originaly i was not going to go... but then we found out it is required and i am glad i went becuase it is powerful. Music truly is powerful.
I have been crushing it in vollyball and basketball. They are super big sports here. I just jump up super high and smack down the ball and its awesome. I was dunking on the basketball courts and then everyone started watching and i threw down some crazy dunks including a powerful windmil that i honestly did not think i could do but it was epic!
Friday we went to the Police station for documentation and we were stuck there for 6 HOURS. That was longgg and i was hungry. When we got back i went straight to the lunchroom exhuasted. We had missed 2 hours of our language class that day from the police visit and then when we finally got there we qere called away for passport stuff so language class didn't happen that day. Later that evening we were suposed to have our doctrine class... but our teacher was nowhere to be found. Turns out he got fired somehow but we dont know why. He was a super good teacher so we were sad he was gone. The next day we still didnt have a doctrine teacher so it was just a weird couple of days with mixed up classes and subs. Sunday though was nice. I got to speak and later that evening had dinner with the speakers in our devotional that night. They both shared super powerful good messages. One of them was the big guy in charge of all missions in South America so that was cool.
Now that our teacher got fired they have to swap our scedules to have classes at different times. Our first language class with this scedule the teacher didnt show up so we had to ask the help desk what was goin on. They sent a sub up and she was able to teach for 1 out of the 3 hours haha. So our classes have been a little messed up but luckily we still have one of our original teachers, she got swapped from our language teacher to now be our doctrine teacher due to the time swap.
I had the oppurtunity to consecrate some oil which was cool! I also learned how to set david goggins as our alarm to wake up in the mornings. It is awesome.

While its been a weird crazy week for me here it has also been a wild one at home. My brother got in an ATV accident while hunting. He was going along a dirt trail a little too fast and ended up going off the trail and getting thrown off and he hit a tree while the ATV continued rolling off a steep cliff. Luckily the ATV did not crush him, although he did have a crushed wrist and little internal bleeding and a bloody nose my brother is OK thankfully. The tree stopped him from going down off the cliff with the ATV. He could have been easily crushed by the four wheeler and been severly injured or worse. I can only turn to one place to thank that my brother is OK. I am so very grateful that he is.
I know that my Heavenly father is watching out for my family and that he kept my brother alive that day. I am forever grateful for that.
He is healing well but will get surgery on his wrist thursday so we will keep him in our prayers to have a good surgery and a speedy recovery.

God is good guys, he truly is soo good.

Until next time, tchau.

(Notes from Mom) - Kyle's liver was damaged and it’s healing quickly. That was the most crucial thing. The liver being damaged was the reason that he got an ambulance ride from the hospital to Primary Children’s. Basically it was a grade 5 laceration they said, meaning it was bruised w some bleeding, and had multiple lacerations. Luckily (or blessedly I might call it?) he didn’t have much internal bleeding.
When the radiologist saw his liver on the scan, he stopped looking at anything else, and immediately got hold of the dr and me to get Kyle to primary Children’s asap. He had scans on his brain, his bones in his face, his chest, his stomach, and his knee (already injured one ) that was hurting again.
End of that story is that his liver seems to be healing remarkably. We are so blessed! I know that our family is so blessed because u are serving ❤️❤️❤️. I’m so proud of u, and I thank u and our Heavenly Father for these blessings ❤️❤️❤️
Love mom
