Mission week 38 (06/24/2024)

Week 38. (06/24/2024) It has definitely been a week. (quote from Thiago.) it really has haha, but it has been longgg. Transfers came and went last week, we are staying here but went to the city to greet the new guys and cut our hair. We ran to McD's to grab a quick burger while waiting and the LZ's got mad... Ope. But I enjoyed my burgar lol. we weren't doin anything wrong so idk why they got mad prolly cuz we didnt invite them haha. but of the new guys that came to our city one was my trainer! Elder Eyring, which is litt. The rest of P-day involved a litt churrasco and futebol so it was a super good p-day. This week not much happened, had a quick division with Elder Ortiz from Guatemala. and me and my comp have been grinding trying to find people, teach and mark dates and we have found a bunch of people and marked dates for the next couple weeks. The turnout at church was super good. we had 17 investigators there, but almost none of them were the ones we expected haha...

Mission week 37 (06/16/2024)

Hey guys whats up! Great things goin on here in Brasil! 2 great miracles were 2 baptisms! one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Sophia and Luiz! W's. Also Happy fathers day to my Dad! To my Grandpa's, to the dads of my friend's, and all others around the world! Love and appreciate you all for helping me and raising these awesome people that have come into my life with everything that you have taught them and sacrificed for them. Yall are awesome!!! My comp told me that he was talking with others the other day, about me. He said that I have potential but the only thing that is stopping me... is me. So I have been trying to change my mindset about things. trying to not have fears, and to trust more in God and have faith. I was asking how people baptize a bunch, and he said the people that baptize the most... are fubecas. why? because they don't have fear of anything. they don't fear the rules and all, but while working they don't fear to just invite, bulldoze in ...

Mission week 36 (06/10/2024)

Yoooo what's up people?!! It has been another Blessed week here in Brasil! Ups and Downs but more of them are ups. the downs were that our two Bap dates for this week both fell. the good news is that one still wants to and was sick, and that we found tons of new great people! and many of them have already accepted our invitations to be baptized! our good Friend Antonio and his wife accepted our help to help them get married and baptized to follow God in the right way! he has soo much faith it is amazing to see it! Random stuff of the week -A little Girl we have on date for baptism next week saw us arriving at her house and exclaimed " The Elders! The Elders! Please bless us!" It was super cool to see her faith already with only being 9 years old. Super pure words of a child. we need to become like little children, like her, like Jesus. -Called President for advice on how to hit the 30 Bap Goal. he gave advice that was good, but he was a bit molly or unsure sounding abo...

Mission week 35 (06/03/2024)

I am going to kill my comp this next transfer. We had Interviews with President and it was litt! been a good week, lockin down more to hit a goal President expects us to meet. Also! I hit 9 months on the mish yesterday!! the day before we ordered the massive burgers and they were huge!!! quite possibly the Best burger i have had in my life. Last week fishing was a huge success!! I Love Fishing. We went fishing in the cold rain at night and I caught 5 fish! I caught 2 big Tilapia and 3 other smaller Pacu. My comp was struggling to catch a fish but I really wanted him to get one too. eventually he asked me to just prepare his line with my magic fingers cuz the fish like me i guess. So I prepped his line and hook, said a little prayer and kissed the hook lol. Then we sent it out and the next thing we know is that the rod broke through the tape it was resting on and was almost yanked right into the water. Elder Santos grabbed the rod and started reeling and ended up fighting this massive ...
