Mission week 6 bouta leave MTC

This week went by quite a bit slower than the others. Probably because we are super close to leavig the CTM and i am soo ready to go. One class near the begining of the week we had a sub and it was this worker we had not met yet but only seen and i swear she is like the human version of Minni Mouse! She is very short and wears a bow on  her head, and is always smiling, so i have just called her Minni Mouse. We told her all that and she laughed but loved it, but we later determined that she would probably match the movie charachter Penelipe from Wreck It Ralph. I have finaly gotten over the sickness I had which was relieving... but, another Elder in my district still has somthing and will consistantly have light cuaghing fits that keep going until he and everyone else are dying with luaghter becuse he cannot stop. He is getting better though.

We went to the temple and i was battling to stay awake becuase we went early, i was pulling every move i could to stay awake, i pinched myself bounced my head the workers probably thought i had tourets or somthing but i just needed to stay awake.

We took the Language profficiency test Saturday. It is out of 10 points and new learners like us were suposed to get between 3 and 4 and that is super good. Most people got around that score but when i pushed enter after the test... it said i had gotten a 0.1 out of 10. I was a little confused and couldn't beleive it. I had my teacher and another instructer look at it and it made no sense. The score that i got should have been immposible. To put in perspective; If i had not said a single word for the test that is the score i would have gotten. the teachers looked at it and listened to the resposees i had given in portugues and said i actually did good with it and spoke decent portugues but the test apperently didnt work! So ya i broke the language test and now my mission priesident got an automatic email sent to him telling him my score lol. So he is gonnabe pretty confused or think i'm dumb to get that score haha. At first i was pretty frustrated with it but i eventueally realized that it ain't that deep and moved on.

I downloaded Dou Lingo to work more on the language so now my language studies are to read 2 pages of Livro De Mormon, hit at least 2,000 points in Tall Embark, and grind out as much Dou Lingo as I Can. I get a little burnt out working on the language so much but its good cuz i want to learn. I requested a personal lesson for me and my comp becuase i heard that it was an option and i want to do everything i can to learn. Super great lessons i really like them.

On Sunday we had a super solid Meeting, we found ooout that me and my comp were giving the lesson and lucky us... becuase we got to teach for pretty much all the Elders in our Branch. Ahh usually they break us into 3 groups for sunday scchool but today we just taught everyone except for the people that spoke french. It was a solid lesson though, we taught about Christlike attributes which is a topic i enjoy. The Priesident said he really enjoyed the lesson too so I Guess we did a decent job.

One of my friends in our district wanted to rematch me in an arm wrestle becuase i beat him a few weeks ago. It was a solid fight but... i couldn't back down and so i won. He is strong though.

I almost forgot, we made a music video for one of the elders here that wrote and sung his own christian rap song it was dope! I have no clue what he said most of the time cuz he has a cool accent but it sounded fire.

The barbers here r crazy good. He was goin to town on my head with scisors snipping faster than i could see! It was a lil nerve wracking but he did a super good job. Brazilian barbers are truly masters of their craft.

I have met a lot more people that are going to Serve in Curitiba and Curitiba South as well. A bunch of super cool and fun people. I am excited to go! We got an Email that tells us that we will be leaving Friday morning meeting at 5:00 at the front. Im super hyped! Next email will be in the field.

Everyday I wake up, may be tired, somtimes i may not wake up feeling the best but one thing i do every day is i look out the window and tell myself, its a beuatiful day. Its a beuatiful day becuase god gave me this day. And gratitude has gotten me in a good mood no matter how i felt previously. Then as i get ready i play the song: It's A Beuatiful Day. Such a good song.
And i feel happy and ready for the day!
(The song is an edit on facebook from
"Sean AI" and called "Beautiful Day")

Until next time, Tchau!

God is good yall, he is so good.
