Mission week 36 (06/10/2024)

Yoooo what's up people?!! It has been another Blessed week here in Brasil! Ups and Downs but more of them are ups. the downs were that our two Bap dates for this week both fell. the good news is that one still wants to and was sick, and that we found tons of new great people! and many of them have already accepted our invitations to be baptized! our good Friend Antonio and his wife accepted our help to help them get married and baptized to follow God in the right way! he has soo much faith it is amazing to see it! Random stuff of the week -A little Girl we have on date for baptism next week saw us arriving at her house and exclaimed " The Elders! The Elders! Please bless us!" It was super cool to see her faith already with only being 9 years old. Super pure words of a child. we need to become like little children, like her, like Jesus. -Called President for advice on how to hit the 30 Bap Goal. he gave advice that was good, but he was a bit molly or unsure sounding about 30. He was saying 20 or 30. it was strange to hear him sounding not so firm about it. but we are gonna keep at it cuz we know it is possible. and we will just do our best. - Our ward mission coordination leader, Lucas is litt, we have meetings with him every week and he speaks a bit of english. We talked about the work, the mish and life too. Twas nice. - Got an emergency call to run to one of the other Elders' chapel to find the elders and separate them cuz apparently they were fighting... we left immediately and helped where we could there. They are both ok now. It was sad to see. They were both sad too. We finally got to bed at bout midnight that night. -i talked with 2 boys for a little bit, talked about fishing and pipas and then he said he wanted me to baptise him. W! I am trying to build more confidence to teach more confidently, testify more powerfully and all. so during one of my studies i wrote a couple of the why's of my testimony. Why do I believe the things that I do? so that i could find the whys and then use them to testify of it better. maybe ask yourself too, what is your "why"? These are a few of my whys: Why do i Believe that these things are true? 1. Because the Spirit of the Lord has testified these things to me in my heart many times throughout my life. 2. Because of the historical records, Scriptures, Stories, Book of Mormon, Bible, Talks of the Prophets and Apostles, other written records, and many other things testify that it is true 3. Because of the blessings and miracles that I have personally seen, heard, and received in my life testify and show through these things that they are true. One of those amazing Blessings and miracles are my Friends and Family. 4. Because I cannot but speak the things which I have seen and heard, and what I have seen and heard is that a notable miracle hath been done in the lives of millions of members of this Church. That cannot be denied. 5. Because I am alive. God created all things living, not living, and more. The Earth, the plants, animals, the rocks, dirt, the sun, the moon, the stars, even he gives the guidance for inspiration, knowledge, new inventions, technology. Literally everything was created by him. and he gave us agency to choose, the good, and the bad. These things were not created by accident. There are no accidents with God. 6. I Believe it because of the Joy! The Hope, Knowledge, Peace, comfort, Happiness, Goodness, Guidance, Direction, And many more great things that come with the following of Jesus Christ, his Gospel, His Church, His Commandments and Covenants, His Plan, his footsteps, and all of it brings these into our lives. 8. Because this Gospel, and this church, comes directly from God. Jesus Christ established his Gospel, Church and Commandments; Before he came to earth through prophets, while he was physically here walking on the earth with man, and even now as his teachings, Gospel, and Church has been restored, Literally appearing Physically before Joseph Smith, and now through his prophets. This is The Church Of Jesus Christ the Savior of the world. truly his church with the fullness of his Gospel. We serve and follow Him and His teachings and have his Power, Authority, and Priesthood keys to seal and make Eternal covenants here on the Earth, now and forever in the Eternities. He continually Guides his Church through his prophets and revelation 9. Because He has answered my Prayers. and he can and has changed my life and the lives of others for goodness and Joy because God truly is Good! and He is forever Great! Love yall!
