Mission week 45

This week has been epic! We started out with fishing and a division with the ZL's and I got to work with my buddy Elder Amerall which was hype!


This week I have given the Restoration Lesson many times, super powerfully. testifying that this is the Only church with Gods power, Prophets, and Apostles. super strong spiritual moments. i was bouta invite someone to Baptism and then their brother showed up who likes to bible bash cuz he's a critic. he said that he had many doubts, and tried many churches already. he said that he would join a church when Jesus tells him that this is the church he needs to serve in. I looked at him dead in the eyes, and said. 
" That is really good that you want to truly serve the Church he tells you is his. but you need to be careful. because you are right now trusting more in your own knowledge and less trust in God. with you criticizing, you are relying on your understanding and you need to trust in God." Then I said, "Look, I am not Jesus Christ. I am not perfect. But, I am a representative of Jesus Christ. I am not him, but I represent him. and I am from the United States but God sent me here, to represent Him. and to testify to you, that I know that this is His Church. This is The Church Of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Head of his Church. and representing him, i am here to tell you, that this is his church, this is the church you need to serve in, and he is calling you in." We invited them to church and it was a super powerful moment. testifying that the feeling that they have in their hearts at that very moment is the Holy Ghost testifying that our words are true.
The Guy was quiet. He was shaken a bit. because he knew it was true. you cannot deny the spirit. and the next day he showed up to church for the first time. so it was SUPER cool!



Random stuff of the week:

-Feliz dia dos Pais! It is Fathers day in Brasil! Happy fathers day yall!
One of my recent converts gave me a little tie with candy for fathers day which was cool!
-I took my son fishing for the first time and he caught a fish! and I caught a Bagre and a Tilapia. I love fishing:)
-My friend Djalma said he wants to buy me a dope cuia cup for Chimarrao! and then he said before i end the mish he wants to find a whole chimarrao kit and give it to me! this guy it litt! pray for him too cuz we are tryna help him be baptized.
-We Burnt our friend Kelvyn.... we taught him, super clearly, and he has read the Book of Mormon a few times already trying to soak it all up. He admitted that he is wrong, and is sinning, and living in sin. We extended our arm or really the arm of Jesus to pull him to a path of purity. He says he knows he has to if he will be saved. but for some reason he won't act, he didn't take the hand. He said it would be too hard to change his whole life. his fear got in the way. but he knows the path now. so we cut him off our teaching list until he decides to take the hand and act. Because the hand is always there
-there are a lot of people here who want to be baptized but the parents wont allow it. so please pray for the people to soften their hearts and allow their kids to partake of the fruit of baptism.
-We painted the whole interior of our house white. cuz there was mold on the walls of this old house lol.
-My comp took his braces off, cuz the mission doesn't allow them due to adjustments needed.
-it is cold as crap.... hitting 1 degree. freaking cold.
-I have been learning about Cologne and stuff cuz it is part of the culture and i love it! I found this one recently called "Malbec Icon" and it is fire!!
-TEMPLE!!!!!!! went to the temple and had Zone Conference. loved that. President basically told all the new guys to quit complaining hahaha, and burnt a few people.
-My comp Elder Benjamim that i am training is Epic. I love teaching him, working with him, and even learning from him. but he gets a bit homesick so pray for him to feel loved, but to forget himself and get lost in the work. cuz there he will find himself and find the Joy of Christ helping others.

Mission week 50

Mission week 50. (09/16/2024) First week here in Ahú Curitiba!  My new Comp here "Elder Siebra" is litt! it is funny cuz i knew him already from a bit earlier on in the mish, but this was during the time when i was a bit annoying lol, but we are super chill now. We are like two buddies just doin God's work and so it is super fun! We both really like music too so it is a good way to connect. He knows a lot and actually studied music before the mission. He also knows how to Play the guitar! which is littt and we both play the guitar and he is teaching me how to do and play a few things! I love music, it is super powerful and... is also something that we can share with other people. We had a cool family night with an awesome member family! they planned it and said our part was just to say the prayers, and give a special musical number... Mission Week 56 (10/28/2024)

First Attempted Armed Robbery!   Guys I want you all to note that I am now training and it was the very first week of the new guy, my comp. and it has been an exciting wild first week on the mission for him, hahahaha. (Also lots of things happened... so it's a long one this week)   Alrightyyy! My new comp that I am training is awesome!!! Elder Eastin is a Dawg! I picked him up Monday and found out that we must have crossed paths a few times before the Mission because he is from Kamas Utah!!! Right where my cabin is at! So he lives there, knows all the trails, lakes, and much more! We have gone to the same ward up there too! So he of course loves Fishing, Hunting, Hiking, Dirt Biking and stuff like that so we get along pretty well and easily. It's been a pretty normal good start of the week and found great people, taught great people. Had great Experiences. Mission Week 8

HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL! Wow it has been a  week , felt like a month haha. We have done soo many different things and talked to hundreds of different people.  Now I have been in my Official area for a  week  in Ala 2. First day here i met this super cool dude, He is a member and his name is Thiago. I am convinced that he is one of the 3 Nephites. This man is awesome. He speaks perfect english and even has lived in Utah a little bit. He has recently become super involved and pretty much always trying to do everything he can do to help the missionaries and participate in the work. He regrets not going on a  mission  so he is basicaly serving unofficialy alongside us working as a member. He will always show up in neihborhoods we usually walk through and ask where we are so he he can help. He even took it a step further and rented a car for 2 days and took us to the far corners of our area to try to talk to people there becuase it is an hour or so walking time...
